Last week was my spring break; I spent it in California, staying with assorted friends both fannish and non-, and had a lovely time. Some high points relevant to the normal contents of this LJ:

California, yay! Sounds like you had an awesome time not to mention eating lots of good things and collecting some great books and music :) Glad you got pimped into Heroes too. It's definitely all about the people (and relaxing) though.

It was SO NICE to have a vacation that was all about the people and the relaxing (and the food and the CDs, hee!).

You went to Chez Panisse! I am so jealous! Also, I am now hungry again despite having eating a large sushi dinner.

Chez Panisse was absolutely delightful.

Oh, and I got to watch my brother eat vast quantities of sushi! I just ate some veggie rolls and a lot of tempura because of the can't-eat-fish thing, but he was clearly having a GREAT time. *g*
