It is perfect! I love it! And I am so amused that you were remembering the house pictures, especially because you could also have been looking at, oh, my LJ... or my fannish website... or my work website. I'm kind of predictable. *g*

Oh, I looked at your LJ, too. I was angling for the right shade of gray -- enough contrast with your basic design to stand out, but still obviously from the same palette.

What can I say? I do this for a living. (:
