I've wanted to do a DivX (well, XviD, really) version of Cat-Scan for a while now; it's got that Pretty Movie thing going for it, and I'm still very fond of it, even though it's the least-downloaded vid I've made

Oh, the snark. I really am not a very nice person. Which I feel fine about, actually. Heh.

The recs page has gotten a bit unwieldy, I must say. It started with just a dozen or so vids, and then I... kept adding to it. At the moment, an awful lot of the recced vidders are people I know personally, which is slightly embarrassing -- not because the vids aren't terrific (I really think they are), but because there are so many other fine vidders out there whose work I just haven't seen much of. When I'm pressed for time, I'm always going to watch my friends' stuff first... but I have at least a hundred vids in my vids-to-watch folder, and I just know that at least a few of them are going to be vids I'll want other people to see! I wish I had an entire week free to just watch vids... except I'd inevitably spend it vidding instead.

I do hope the current page guides you to some good stuff you didn't already know about; I know I found a couple of new-to-me vids on your recs page, and I'm looking forward to checking them out!

Yay remastering! I really like how you remade the site as well, it looks great. And I love how you reorganized the vid recs, I always enjoy reading your comments on them.

I just thought I'd drop a comment to let you know how much I love Cat-Scan Hist'ry. Visually, it's gorgeous and unsettling, just as the movie itself was. I especially adore the bit that starts at 2:48, with the flame rising, the lights flashing, and the chandelier and the girls dancing.
