grading: done!

I have finished my grading.

::collapses::

I have approximately seven thousand things to do this summer, but grading is not among them. That's a happy, happy thought.

It is the BEST feeling.

Of course, I still have to decide on books for next semester... heh.

Congrats on finishing the grading! I know well what a great feeling that is!

Please enjoy some cake/peas with mint/some kind of goodie before collapsing. Or to refresh yourself post-collapse, and before you get on to the 7000 things.

You know I'm happy to help with some of them!

Huzzah!!!

It looks like we're going to see Mission of Burma play again this summer; I thought of you.

Hey, do you know the band Jawbox?

Mission of Burma! Rock on!

And: good lord, I haven't listened to Jawbox in years. But yes, back in the day. *g*

Also, I'm seeing Peter Mulvey play next week and again later this summer, which makes all things right in my little world.

We're sitting around searching for music videos on youtube and just watched the video for Jawbox's cover of "Cornflake Girl" and it occurred to me that if, by some distressing chance, you didn't know them, you really should. So I'm glad you do.

And oh, Peter Mulvey! I've missed seeing him more than once, and it's so frustrating. One of these days...
