Reading these comments about Farscape's 'flying by the seat of your pants' planning so soon after rereading a Vorkosigan novel puts odd images in one's mind. Miles is something like Crichton, and something like Scorpius, and something like Rygel. (And Cavilo = Servalan = Grayza, natch. Except blonde.)
