Heh, the first thing I'll say... and your only bit of French advice for the night is, I am a "tu" not a "vous". Vous is very formal or when you're speaking with someone you don't know well. I've seen your tatas... you can refer to me as "tu" and "toi"....

I've been drinking some French wine and eating yummy quiche, so I think it's time to lay down and see if the TV works!

Not to sound ungrateful for the opportunity or anything, but I've been here loads of times before, so I don't think I feel as excited as I should! I'm really fucking glad that Megz found me a place to stay until Saturday morning (must be out by then) - or if I want I can rent it for a month. We'll see depending on the outcome of my two meetings for au pair jobs tomorrow. I'm thrilled to be close to Republique and really love listening to the sounds from my window!

I'm sure things will get more exciting when I realise I'm here for a fairly long haul and not just a week or a month. Also, right now I'm pretty zonked from being in transit and still waiting for the "calmness" to take over :)
