Well, we're nearly a month into 2014, but here is my Year in Photos post for 2013. I did cut out a load of photos, but this is still pretty image-intensive (I think there are about 35 pictures in all). Not really expecting anyone to look, I just really enjoy making this post as it's fun! :) 2013 was a pretty alright year.

Ben and I spent Sunday working with the Shires at the East of England Autumn Show. Usually the Wisbech Shire Horse Society holds their annual show here but, due to rising costs from the showground, this year they held it a month earlier at Sacrewell Farm instead. Yesterday, Ben and I did a 400 mile round trip to collect his (newly fixed) horsebox and his mare. We took the train up to Yorkshire to get the box, and then drove to my parent's place in Cambridgeshire which is where Iris has been living for the past week. Mum put this photo up on Facebook of my girls. Adorable, right? :P Pepsi can be friends with other horses when she doesn't think that anyone is watching! Check out that synchronised leg resting, hehe. Also: Pepsi's 29th birthday is on Friday. My mare is looking good!

The show went well, despite an unbelievably crazy thunderstorm on Saturday! We'd seen the clouds approaching and the sky getting darker all morning, and about an hour or so before we were due to go back in the ring for our second demo the skies opened and dumped everything they had on us. Right - that's my fourth out of six weekends in a row spent in Cambridgeshire over and done with!
