Your regularly scheduled weekend photo dump.

So, my weekend. I had to work Saturday morning, but I made my way south that afternoon where I met up with glenatron. We went back to his and fell asleep for a couple of hours, lol. We'd both been up early, he in order to get his lessons done before I arrived and I so that I could get Beatrice mucked out before starting work. So I think we were allowed a nap.

On Sunday Ben wasn't teaching at all, so I got to hang out with him all day - which was nice. In the morning we visited his parents and went for a walk together to find the mansion that's been built for the new James Bond film. There was a fake tree which kind of blew my mind a bit. It looked real until you touched it and it squidged. D:

We had a picnic for lunch because I am a girl and I wanted one, and then we went to visit ponies. Cash did a lot of running. An awful lot of running. Which was probably frustrating for Ben, but great for me from a photography perspective. XD

Pip belongs to Ben's parents; he had to retrieve her ball for her, as it had become lodged in a tree. Pip was very grateful.

LOL dog. :P

Everything is so exciting when you're a dog!!1!11!

Then Ben started doing ninja rolls across the lawn. :D

Skyfall Mansion.

A little cottage/storage shed next to the house. This had also been purpose built for the film.

THE FAKE TREE. D: You know, I'm sure it would have been easier and cheaper for them just to dig up a small oak and replant it there...

Good food and a handsome man. Best day!

Huzzah for self-timers.

A little Jersey cow calf at Ben's yard. Super cute.

Cash decided he did not want to be caught.

Nope, not coming in (also, the perspective makes him look enormous here).

At least he looks pretty while he's running away.

Thowra! They named him Thooowraaaa! Like the wind, like the wind, he is freeeee! XD Is it sad that I can still remember that theme tune?

This would have been an AWESOME shot of them cantering together, but I managed to cut off the tips of their forehooves which ruined the entire shot. So I cropped it and pretended I'd only wanted a portrait anyway.

When Cash finally came in, he still had plenty of energy left.

Zoom zoom.

Little golden pony!

I love how quiet Ben is in this one. Just waiting for the little guy to stop hooning about...

Huge trot for a little pony!

Cash stops for a moment.

Cash would like to be friends; Ben is not so sure. :P

Cash eating the lariat. And why not?

And off again. I love his little dust cloud.

So this was what Ben was doing during Cash's quiet moments - using the rope to ask Cash to move. We'd watched a video the night before of Ray Hunt doing it, but I'm afraid it mostly went over my head; so you'd have to look to Ben's LJ for an explanation ... I'm fairly sure there will be one at some point.

And this is my favourite photo: I'm not entirely sure what's going on with those legs, but it makes me laugh. I just keep thinking of how they move in the Charlie the Unicorn animations. XD
