Waggoners Wells

Yesterday afternoon glenatron and I visited Waggoners Wells, a 17th century series of man-made ponds in a wooded valley just down the road from us. It's a National Trust reserve and is ridiculously pretty. I've visted before (and Ben is a regular), but not for about a year.

those are such beautiful photos! That looks like such an amazing place! The sad tree reminds me of pocahontas, and those autumn leaves in the river with all the green, ugh, I'm so jealous!

Was this place featured in an episode of Skins, possibly s3, where there was some girl/girl action? Very recognizable.

Is it far from where you live?

Hmm, I don't know, sorry; I've only seen season 1 of Skins, and can't find any info about the area being used for filming. But then again, this part of the country is big on films (James Bond, Robin Hood, the new Thor etc. were all filmed nearby), so I guess it's possible!

Nah, it's about a 15 minute drive. I could cycle there if I wasn't so lazy.
