No, I never did get to see it in the theater. I . . . just sort of never bothered to go. :D
I hated it. I thought it was ugly, and I HATE that they refuse to have any continuity from one film to the next - the look of everything changes. Like why would they re-do the Dementors? And Hogwarts and the school uniforms? Plus the changes to the story, or places where they rushed, and . . . and . . . and . . . Um, I just really did not like the film at all.
Well, Madame Frank says that they need to change the look of Hogwarts every year if they want to stay fab-u-lous!
Might take a 2nd or 3rd look to be sure though.
Still, you would think that even though the kids change over time, that Hogwarts would remain static in most respects. (How many minutes on-screen did they wear robes in PoA? 10? Max???)
