I'm having a low-energy day (due to several factors), and I very nearly decided to skip this . . . but I think I've got time to write up a little something before midnight for Blog Action Day, which is dedicated to the environment. Good post! Also, people need to remember to keep up and vote locally as well as nationally. A lot of the bad crap that is done is on a local level, by unscrupulous developers, allowed by city, county, and state officials.

I saw a new high-dollar development going in the other day here, and they had simply RAZED all the trees, rather than removing some judiciously. Made me want to cry.

Very interesting! I got 8 out of 10, too, and I still think my way of indoor grilling (using a stovetop grill) uses less energy than the outdoor gas grill, which has to warm up for 10 minutes. So that would make 9 of 10.

I have to get some new light bulbs ASAP, though I've already installed dimmers on the lights.
