LOL! Don't be embarrassed . . . NO one has ever heard of a Xerula, including me. Well, except for a few wacky botanists (unless there's another word for someone who studies mushrooms. Mycologist?). Xerula is a genus of mushrooms; there aren't *any* organisms with common names starting with X, (well, except Xantus' Hummingbird and Xantus' Murrelet; and those are both really LONG) so I figured I'd tried to find a Latin name. It was either that, or some obscure bug that no one's heard of, either, and in honor of Connor, I went with the mushroom. So don't feel bad at all! I'd never heard of it until I went Googling for something starting with X. :)

Hi Herebedragons... Can I ask you a few things about your lj setup? If so, could you pm me your email address? Cheers, Helen aka nicecupoftea

YAY! Playing with layouts! I've sent you an e-mail; let me know if it doesn't arrive for some reason (I used the LJ system), and I'll try again. :)
