I'm taking Analysis of Form this semester, which is mostly drawing with charcoal at 18" x 24" size. It's sorta like the Beginning Drawing class I took at my local university some years back, except faster paced and twice as hard! Thank you! I know I won't always bother with the perspective construction lines in the future, that shortcut will come in quite handy.

Wow. Honestly. I knew you were a wonderful artist, but it does take these realistic looking photos to really impress without any doubt. I am in awe. I'm also so glad you are enjoying it. This seems like it is exactly what you should be doing. I had to take a couple looks at the bust to determine if it was a sculpture or not (and then I had to read that it was a drawing)

Well, I have at least 10 years head-start on you. ;) This is all learnable stuff, it just takes a while. Honestly, for how long I've been drawing, I feel like I should be way better by now. (At least a third of the time for each of these was spent fixing my many mistakes.)

I wish I was better at photography! I find it very interesting, and I'm envious of people with good photographic skills.

Yeah your right. I do like drawing and all that but nowadays I'm concentrating on polishing my writing skills with the books I've been writing which is pretty intensive creatively. Need to pull out my camera again and dust it off, I still haven't finished my 365 day project!

Ah, yes. I sent you a little something (I hope you don't mind) and I realize now that you might not get it due to very evile post office. I just wanted to say thank you for your very generous gifts. It means a lot to me. I mean, more than I think you'll ever know ^^;
