Nov 29, 2009 22:41

Here is the preview for next episode; Which promise to give us a fair ammount of our favorite fairy Queen. And that's more than welcome since the girl almost disappeared of the serie when her role as Arthur's LI was given to Gwen.

An ancient prophecy speaks of an alliance between Morgana and Mordred, united in evil... )

I liked last night's episode but I have to agree with everything else. I really hate that Morgana barely showed up this season and her relationship with the other characters, specially Arthur, seems to have disappeared into thin air.
I understand why Arthur/Morgana couldn't/didn't happen but that's no excuse for erasing every possible interaction between the two *sigh*

I like Gwen. I do. But she seems to like a different guy every episode (she's sticking to Arthur lately. until Lancelot shows up again, I'm sure) and to me, that's kind of ruining her.

I'm really looking forward to next week's episode ♥ yay for Morgana and yay for Mordred. Though it seems like Morgana will never interact majorly with anyone else, it's kind of sad.

AS FOR THE NEXT EPISODE. I'm dead excited. Mainly because Morgana will be reunited with Mordred, and we finally get a Morgana centric episode. It all seems exciting.

There is no way they can screw that up, Morgana and Mordred could plot to steal potatoes and it would still be more interesting than watching Arthur and Gwen making googly eyes at each other.

That's the same thing for me.
Back in season 1, I wanted to like Gwen.
Then came season 2 Gwen and while I was...surprised by some changes, I still liked her, while disliking terribly A/G (I'm not going to get started on it but I never saw such a terrible way to create a relatiosnhip before. In any kind of serie, anime, whatever), in episode 4, with Lancelot, I LOVED her.

Now, yeah no. Her character totally changed, she just sounds fickle and I can't take her seriously anymore :/

Now, yay for Morgana centric episode ! Episode 3 was pretty awesome (and this while they did their best to kill every kind of Arthur/Morgana interaction XD Subtelty isn't their things I guess XD) and while the ploit of this one is once again, an old plot changedf a little, the simple presence of Morgana and Mordred should make up for that.

And we'll probably get Morgana"s evil look" we saw in the third trailer for season 2 :3333

It was an all around lame move on her part. There was probably a million different things she could've said. I don't know, I love Gwen but this episode kind of made me dislike her. |:

Welcome to the club. I'm glad you see the light. Gwen is... well, I'll save my opinion for my lj :P

I could have dealt with Gwarthur if it meant that Morgana was still a major player in the show. She doesn't even have scenes with Arthur anymore and her personality/wardrobe/lines have been given to Gwen. Gwen IS Morgana this season, so basically Gwarthur shippers are shipping AMor and hypocritically bashing our girl. Well, Morgana Le Fay was the ORGINAL Morgana Le Fay. ACCEPT NO SUBSTITUTES.

I miss S1!Gwen, I usually dislike Guinevere in the legends but Angel did such a brilliant job and I actually cared for this version of her. I knew Gwarthur (I refuse to call it Arwen, poor Tolkien) was going to happen, I liked it when it was S1!Gwen/Arthur, I hate that she had to become someone else for him to notice her.

Thankfully they are going back to awesome episodes, I swear I only enjoyed The Nightmare Begins and Sins of the Father this season. Bring back the HBIC!

Can we make this the Morgana, Morgause, Mordred, Merlin, Gaius, Lancelot, Sir Leon and Uther show?

I've liked most of the episodes... but I would have liked them better minus the A/G stuff. You know what makes it more fun? If you talk over the A/G scenes with silly voices (they basically have the same scene repeatedly, so you don't need to pay attention). What? My friends and I, we get bored...

What I don't understand about this season is why they are cutting Morgana off from EVERYONE. I can understand getting rid of ArMor but what about Uther, Gwen and Merlin? So far Merlin is the only person Morgana can confide in and they haven't had a scene together since 2x03 !? Did her magic problems just suddenly disappear?

The only thing I've really enjoyed this season is Lancelot, Morgana, the druids and Morgause. I don't understand how any of the plots this season are preventing Morgana from having scenes with Uther, Merlin and Gwen. :/

I think they're trying to isolate her from everyone she cares about in order to enable her turn to darkness a little more. It's pretty shitty, and probably just as much down to bad writing as a plot point -- I'm annoyed ArMor have dropped so unceremoniously. When Morgana finally does turn "evol" who's going to care? She doesn't talk to anyone anymore and the one person who should be hurt the most (Arthur) will not feel the impact like he would have in early series one.

This so hard.

At this level, her turning against Arthur will be even less emotional That the break up of Vivain and Arthur, just to say.
Had they continue with the plot from S1, we would have get something heartbreaking and sexy, and they would have had the perfect excuse to began to devellop a relationship between A/G. (That was what I wanted before we get this shit. Pity)

think they're trying to isolate her from everyone she cares about in order to enable her turn to darkness a little more.

I think if the writers were trying to do that they would put more emphasis on Morgana trying to reach out to the people she cares about but ultimately pulling away from them. which requires screen time

So far I've only seen Morgana pull away from Merlin in 2x03 but she ended telling him anyways.

I hope Morgana does turn "evil" soon. Not so much evil, but turn against Uther and Camelot since she's been treated very poorly this season (by the writers mostly since they've done nothing but exclude her from every major plot line and have destroyed her relationship with all other characters, especially Arthur).

AND I'm going to turn with her.

Let's all turn to the dark side with her.
So far, the good side of the coin in season 2, has been terribly shitty, annoying...
I bet we'll have more fun with druids and sorcerer and no epic glances of love :333
