Everyone who knows me, knows I'm a devotee of Dan Savage. I follow his blog, video's on the youtube and read Savage Love. Just as long as he doesn't have to get martyred, I'm in. Hee.

Phil has been playing Savage's podcasts in the Studio all week. It's the only thing he plays that I ask him to turn up.

I'm thinking the opposite of martyrdom. We keep him alive as long as possible, using whatever unnatural means we can get our hands on. Then when the great Savage does die, we steal the body, plastinate it, and place it in the sacred catacombs of our temple for only the most faithful to gaze upon. (FYI the temple will be the current Mars Hill church in Ballard which I assume will have gone defunct as we lure more and more of their members to our side.)
