I found my first gray hair, and yes it was on my head. My reaction was somewhere between a shrug and elation. Shrug because seriously who the FUCK cares. The earth is about to explode from overuse, my aging does not matter one iota. And elation because I'm one of those sick, twisted women who thinks gray hair makes a person look wise, and

Most of the elders in my family (male and female) tend to go white.

I'm actually looking forward to that.

I'm going a bit grey, mostly at the temples - so maybe I'll get those cool stripes?

But I'm noticing that some of the grey hairs that are coming in are a really different texture than the rest of my hair. And I will admit, the ones that are the most crazy, "Azimov's eyebrows"-looking are getting yanked. As a lesson to the others that they should behave! :P

I was born with crazy thick eyebrows (ahh the great Krizsan inheritance) I'm looking forward to that getting worse. I too pluck the weird hairs I'm getting in places there just should not be hair but so far not so much on the others behaving, in fact it seems to create greater rebellion.

I too have the odd gray strand. If my hair starts to look lame as it grays, I'll dye it some amusing, not found in nature color.

My hair just keeps getting darker. Wait, don't some people pay good money to get blonde highlights in their hair? And you get for free. YOu should thank your God. ;)
