The trip was long, but alot more comfortable then one on a commerical flight. She slept most of the way, which was a change from the first time she came out to see her friend. As of late, things seemed to slow down for her, which was nice and relieving all in the same breath.

After meeting with the guys, Ziyah remembered one face from the first trip, but be damned if she could remember his name. They seemed friendly enough and chatted her up on the way to wherever it was that Cody was. The ride was a little long, and not that she minded or paid attention. It gave her some time to relax after the flight. She never liked flying much, but it seemed as of late, she was doing alot more of it.

As they pulled up to the ranch, she saw the blonde approaching. She propped her cigarette in her lips, gave her infamous Zee smirk and opened her arms to give her friend a big hug.

'Now aren't you a sight for sore eyes.' she chuckled.

Cody threw her arms around her friend. The men were great about her Immortality, and they tried to understand stuff that she and Hsu dealt with. But having a female friend, who was newly Immortal, gave Cody a chance to distract her mind from the horror of her kidnapping and put her energy towards helping her friend protect herself. If she could pass on even a little of the strength, courage and life lessons that Frances and Sebastien had given to her over the years, as well as the skills Andy and the guys gave her to even the odds, then she would pay forward some of what she had been gifted with. And, also, she could widen the circle of influence for Hsu, allies in Immortality to his philosophy ( ... )

Pulling Cody into her arms, Zee kissed the side of her head and pulled back to answer.

'Relaxing, which as of late is a bit of an ironic statement coming from this big mouth.' she smiled and gave her a wink past her dark sunglasses.

Pulling away, she surveyed the grounds with an impressed nod and looked back at her friend. 'Hell, it's not a bad place to hang your hat, eh?' she started walking but was distracted by the blonde further introducing the men that she shared the car with after them picking her up.

'How could I forget.' she leaned over and spoke a little more discreetly. 'The body sparks the memory rather well.' she winked as she gave a small wave to both men.

"Hey, relaxing is good. I know what you mean, though." Cody chuckled at Zee's comments about Lars. "We'll have to catch him at the pool later. He's really pretty with water rolling off those muscles. Makes a great show." Cody knew Lars would punch her arm for talking about him that way, but she still laughed and walked towards her loft.

"I've been hanging here, instead of at my place in town. Security's been a little tighter." They went up the stairs to the loft apartment over the barn. "They set this place up for me, so I could have my own space. Check out these skylights! At night, it's amazing to see the stars and the moon." One of the men brought up Zee's bags, and then left quickly. Cody went into the mini kitchen area, and glanced at Zee. "Want some wine? I have a really good local one I think you'll like. And while I get that, you can tell me all about how you're doing with adjusting to Immortality."
