The root of the word Iman is a-m-n which means: to be calm and quiet (in one’s heart); to be protected from fear; trustworthiness and truthfulness. I had never before known that reason, knowledge, and faith did not have to be mutually exclusive. They were a contradiction before Islam. For me, intellectual satisfaction is key.

Who knew it was possible?

To have true iman is the best feeling I have ever known. I wish it to be a part of you one day soon, too.
