Amen. I never could read Rand. Her theme seems to be that the system she fled from, Stalinism, sucks. (Who knew?) She then goes to the other side of the coin, Dickensonian capitalism, and cheers for all the villains in Dickens' works.

Trouble is, both stem from secularist/modernist ideology, and are thus cut from the same cloth. A society setting up Mammon in the place of a Dear Leader and his next Five Year Plan is still missing the correct Summum Bonum, and still worshipping idols. I'll take G.K. Chesterton over Marx or Rand any day.
