Sounds like a good idea but it'd probably cause really ridiculous problems. I worked in a visual perception research lab for a couple of years and I still rememebr studies showing that the brain gets used to where your eyes are located. I don't remember the exact circumstance now, but when you messed with that the subjects ended up not being able to see straight. Everything was still filtered through as if their eyes were still 'seeing' from where they had been.
