The Daily Post: The Quick Edition

Feb 06, 2009 07:29

Hi!!  Guess what!  I'm flyin' by the seat of my pants.  Got RL stuff to do this mornin', yeehaw!!  But, I was thinking we need to revisit some of Ian's lesser-known characters.  We don't know as much about them, but it's certainly not for lack of trying!!  *shakes fist at lack of British tv show dvd's in the US*  ( let's try this again...probably making it worse!! )

dr. talbot, jeremy, gavin, gareth, adrian, the daily post, ian gowrie, jason, brian

I think Adrian fascinates me the most. I'd so love to see that short.

By the way, if you were trying to put these behind a cut, it didn't work

I've never seen such a lovely (and big!) picture of Dr. Talbot! Fabulous!

Mmm favorite lesser-known Ian character. I think it would very much be Adrian. (I wouldn't know, since that short is impossible to find!) Maybe someday we'll get to discover it! (:

By the by, for the cut, maybe this will help?:

Just put this before your pictures:

And this at the very end:

I usually highlight and then use the LJ cut button. Wasn't working today. And I have no idea if it's possible to undo a bad cut once you've done it. I'll try to re-edit again with this.

Is there any way that you, as a mod, can fix it if I can't? Be my guest. :)

I'll try now though. Give me a minute...and then you're welcome to try if I can't do it.

LJ tends to mess things up easily, I think. I didn't know there was a button! I always just type it out (which, if I'm having one of my silly moments, can turn out to be quite a chore).

Before I posted, I checked to see if I could edit it for you, but it doesn't give us that option. I can click "edit entry" and it shows me the text, but I can't edit (:

P.S. Barnes&Noble.com must like me, they got None But You back in stock! I have both books ordered now! Yay!

Yep, it's a little button in the Rich Text tab/toolbar. It's a little picture with what looks like a few lines of text and then a squiggly (hee!) line underneath it. I usually highlight what I want under the cut and then click that.

Yay for bn.com :D You'll probably start reading that before I do...I'm reading The Namesake right now and have just put Interpreter of Maladies on hold at the library, so I HAVE to read that when it becomes available. And I've got to read the Twilight ones too...I have the 3rd one on hold, but haven't read the 1st or 2nd yet. ;)

I love that very first pic. How can Ian do such a simple pose as leaning on a fence post, and make it look sooo delicously yummy?
Guh!.. to look out my door and to see that sweet vision! :)

Great post, Ms. Rikka! hendercats is going to be thrilled! Look at all of that available neck and behind the ear area for her to lick!

I'll go for Doc Talbot - boy, can he ride a horse ~ and he looks great in leather riding boots!

Adrian intrigues me.
I very much would love to see him, feathers and all.

I'm with you Miss Ida...I too am intrigued by Adrian. There is something so magical in this performance. (What little I've seen.)
I would be fine with his fluff of nervously flying feathers, if I could be on the receiving end of that beautiful smile and lovely gaze....sigh.
