That was one of the speeches that my Chinese friend just adored while watching the movie. I think she was ready to get up and charge the French when it was done, possibly singing "Kill the Wabbit, kill the Wabbit, kill the Waaaaaaabbit!" at the top of her lungs. (She's a Wagner scholar with a taste for Bugs Bunny.)
And that picture is lovely. The more I think about it, the more I think Branagh must have desperately wanted to make the Herald a real supporting character, dressing him in such an electric blue when everyone else is wearing faded dyes. He really stands out.
