[Memething that's been going around: Ask me questions about my characters! I'd be happy to answer for both Henrik and Yujao, with the caveat that I may answer insufficiently, or in less than timely fashion, or just plain incorrectly. This goes double for asking 'what X thinks about Y,' because character thoughts change frequently.]

Has Henrik ever had the urge to dominate someone? How would he react to it?

Are you kidding? Yujao loves London. All right, no one knows how to make a good pot of tea here, and the meat's frankly iffy, but there are lots of things to kill and lots of people who are willing to see her kill them. Score!

Your second question is complicated, because it requires an operational definition of 'dominate' that Henrik has never really theorized. He has a fairly good idea now of what it means to submit--or at any rate, a far better one than he had when he came to the Neath--but this working definition involves separate-and-interlocked strands of servitude, submission to pain, and submission to pleasure. Therefore, I'll try to address each area separately
