The Company of Friends will follow the format first seen in January 2007's Circular Time and last seen in November's Forty-Five and consist of four single episode stories. All four stories will star the Eighth Doctor but each will also star a different companion and this is where it gets a little interesting.
Benny's Story by Lance Parkin will see Eight cross paths once again with Professor Bernice Summerfield, as ever played by Lisa Bowerman. Fitz's Story will see the debut of BBC Books companion Fitz Kreiner to the Big Finish range courtesy of a script by Stephen Cole and the vocal talents of Matt Di Angelo. Izzy's Story follows a similar path in bringing an old friend from Eight's adventures in other media to the Big Finish world, in this case as might be guessed from the title, DWM's Izzy Barnes. Alan Barnes will provide the script for this particular tale of the quartet while Jemima Rooper gives Izzy voice. The final friend's tale will be told in Jonathan's Morris' Mary's Story which picks up on the hints first given in Storm Warning as Julie Cox stars as Mary Shelley.
KEYBOARDMASH. I thought there was never any chance of the EDA characters turning up in the audios - even the Short Trips Big Finish books haven't had Fitz, Anji et al for years.
