OMG! I dodged a bullet for the second time! I was so scared that my laptop's motherboard finally gave out on me! *hyperventilates* Poor computer is almost three years old and I push it to its limit over and over and over again. Miraculously, I was able to repair Windows XP after three hours of the computer not cooperating with me. The relief is

OMG! Almost the same thing happened to me last night. But only because my bratty little brothers did something to my computer while I was away. I was able to repair it too but now the little demon seedlings made my mom's laptop crash...

Anyway, I'm glad you were able to repair yours too. And let's hope it functions properly for the next 100 years. :D

Sometimes I think about how lucky I am to be an only child. XD

100 years? I'll be lucky if I get another 2 years out of the poor laptop. It has been acting up for the past year. If it weren't for System Restore, it would have died a long time ago. I was lucky that the Windows XP Setup prompt worked. The computer wouldn't advance any farther than the title screen. -_-
