Definitely going through a midlife crisis here. But of a decidedly different flavor than yours. The woman I am supposed to marry hates me more often than she loves me. Work comes and goes and doesn't pay me anywhere near enough or often enough. My roommate/landlord is a one-sided den-mother who blames all my girl's shittiness on me. I no longer have a sex life. Or a social life. Or an art career. Or friends. Or dreams. Or hope. Well, I still have that. Just nowhere to point it.

about 2 years ago i found out that most the people I knoiw where on second life...every moment they were not at wrok. Sorry, get a first life before a second one.

i am trying to figure out what the hell a midlife crisis is, but i am feeling like maybe that's what's going on right about now with me too. just feel like everything is upside-down and not where i want to be, and out of control and not fixable. and totally roller coaster on the emotional trip.

so... i am glad you have refound livejournal, yay! hope to hear from you more frequently. :)
