We spent New Year's Eve quietly at home, as we were both working on recovering from colds. Saturday we drove to NYC and spent several hours at primarily two exhibits, Death Becomes Her: Mourning Attire, and Chinese Albums. Good stuff. Still playing catch-up, between being ill for weeks and then fall festival. Made it to one kung fu class this week though, which was nice. Currently working on a major move in the radiant/weaving room right now. There's a set of 4 tall cabinets on one of the inner walls -- this is modular stuff, so each one is like half a cabinet, as regards ( Read more... )

Went to two kung fu classes this past week. We'd planned on a third, but L's work exploded, and really, it was probably a good thing not to go Friday, as my right knee was jamming. We want to be able to go again this coming week, after all ( Read more... )

The Honda has to go back into the shop; problem still not resolved. Minivan is going to junk guys (and isn't safe to drive long distance, not even for one more trip), so the engine problem must be resolved in the next week or we aren't going to Georgia.

Honda's working again. Theory is that the replacement coil was bad. New coil from manufacturer instead of parts store, and switched with another coil. This way, if the same cylinder has a problem, we know it's more than just the coil that was a problem. Warning light is out, car seems to be working. No charge ( Read more... )
