Spot the many ways in which this article is full of crap.Now, I am definitely not a health nut. I don't get any cardio exercise, I smoke, I drink I eat a lot of fast food out of necessity and I don't eat a lot of veggies. For me, even though it doesn't thrill me to take extra medication, it controls my period and allows me to function.

I think, for a dietitian, that article is nuts.I think the idea of recommending x number of calories makes little to no sense. I'd be deeply surprised if you and I had the same calorie needs.
