shining like a national guitar

My friends, I am back, and find myself having a hard time getting back into the swing of things. Who could have ever predicted???
As such, I think the best course of action here is....A POLL!!!

Poll General Life Survey

Note: while I cannot be sure I actually performed a dance to "Graceland," it's entirely possible. Probably more the album than the song, though.

Sigh. I think I didn't get the last question. My parents did not, in fact, listen to NKOTB. They did, however, listen to Blue Oyster Cult and CCR, but of which I seem to have recently acquired large amounts of.

The music of my youth was contemporary christian schlock of the worst kind (Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith, Sandi Patti, et al). If I ever found myself listening to it, I'd have to kill myself.

that's what your parents listened to?? i must confess to a brief period of dc talk &c but it was of my own peer-influenced volition, not because of my parents.

It was totally my parents. I didn't hear the beatles until my sophomore year of high school.

oh my god!! that's amazing. i was not allowed to listen to the top 40 radio station so i got my mc hammer and such in brief coveted spurts at friends' houses, but what i was listening to at home was, like, the "hits of the 80's, the best of the 90's" and oldies stations and my parents' steve winwood tape. it took a long time for me to realize they have serious music cred and appreciate their record collection.

And this is not a good thing.

a kewpie doll's? i would not have picked that. i think you have a very nice, well-proportioned face. according to my survey, a lot of us are not very happy with our arms, and that is reassuring to me.
