Wow!!! Update, plus comment fic thank you party
Got an email from merfilly (sharpest_asp) last night. The total of ChipIn and Private donations currently stands at $2473.60. I'm just completely in awe, and so grateful for your response.
So that means we are only $526.40 away from the goal. In less than two days. Fandom, you are amazing! Thank you thank you thank you! There aren't enough thank yous in the world.
Please don't forget to check out the thank you gifts here (DW) and here (LJ) for those who have donated or are considering doing so. Make sure to check out both pages, because there are different offerings in both places. And if you still wish to offer your creativity, it is not to late to do so. There are many donors who have not yet claimed a thank you gift, and your creative offering may be what gets us to the goal!
Also, for EVERYONE who has helped - funds, their creative efforts, collectables, goodies, signal boosts, etc. - there is a group of writers who are offering thank you drabbles and ficlets. To claim one, you simply need to respond to THIS post (you can do so anon if you wish) with a comment fic request (fandom, character(s), prompt). Feel free to leave more than one, or prompts on both comms! And anyone can respond to a comment with a thank you ficlet/drabble/fic, not just those who volunteered ahead of time. IT'S A THANK YOU COMMENT FIC PARTY! Wheeeeeee! (Usual comment fic party courtesy stuff - please warn for known squicks and triggers in the subject or top of your comment in both requests and responses)
