So I've been nosing around IMDb's forums again. Because apparently I like to inflict pain on myself. I was gone for a couple of months and the average IQ of forum contributors appears to have dropped somewhere around 20-30 points. It's amazing -- these people get stupider and stupider at a rate so fast that they threaten to warp space and time.

People will generally fail to live up to your expectations of them. The only sad fact is that when the stupid become the majority, it makes the intelligent look stupid. It's all a matter of perception and majority opinion.

I think it's funny when someone will call a machine stupid because they don't know how to work it. Sometimes I'll call them on it: "If it's stupid and you don't know how to operate it, what does that make you?"

Them: ". . ."

Them: "You're stupid!"
