I have been waiting for years for someone to put this on the web. In 1994 we celebrated the 100th anniversary of film as a medium and in commemoration of that event this nine-minute short film was put together of highlights from that century

On a related note, I just had a flashback to college where getting fucked up and watching The Wizard of Oz to Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon was a monthly and sometimes weekly event for years there. I saw the movie dozens of times just in those sessions alone. The only movie we watched more was Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. God knows how many brain cells I've killed watching that flick.
As a kid though, my movie obsession was Die Hard. I saw it when it came out and I was 10 years old and it was the coolest thing ever. (In retrospect, my parents were conservative but were crazy stupid when it came to the movies they let me see.) By the time I was an adult I estimated I saw it 180 times or something. Sick!
