Kevin Sorbo got sucked into this mess? I also saw Diedrich Bader at the top of the list. I feel sorry for both of them.

Remember when spoof movies were good, like Airplane! and Johnny Dangerously that had original dialog and original concepts? Now they're just lame juxtapositions of other movies and pop culture references loosely thrown together in an absurd excuse for a plot that ends up going nowhere.

Someone I work with actually tried to talk about how funny it was that the huge gob of spit landed on the Persian messenger. At first, I thought it a bit juvenile at best, but now that I've seen it I weep for the decline of society that produced and accepted it as comedy.

I couldn't agree with you more. I think it all went to shit after the first Scary Movie movie.

In fact, I just discovered something -- the guys who did Meet the Spartans and Epic Movie are the guys who did Scary Movie 4 after the Wayans Brothers decided to stop beating the dead horse. What's more, they're putting out Scary Movie 5 as a follow up to Meet the Spartans. I think we should nuke the entire studio from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.
