Oops, I think I messed up. :) I went ahead and offered a winning spot to another bidder just a few seconds ago. However, I have made attempts to contact one of my winning bidders and have heard nothing from them:

http://help-japan.livejournal.com/3721.html?thread=1819017#t1819017

I just happened to come back to reread the rules and noticed I was supposed to notify a mod first. (Sorry, I guess I got confused because I had already asked before about this.)

hi! thank you for notifying us. we will attempt to get in touch with nextian over the next three days. if neither you nor the mods receive a response by then, you may discount the bid in question, if you wish.

Right, after sending a PM and email to my offerer (offer thread here), I still haven't heard anything from him/her. I have already donated, and a copy of the receipt was sent by email to the offerer as well. Basically, I have not heard a peep from the offerer since the auction closed. They didn't contact me about winning the bid and did not respond to my attempts to contact them, so... what next?

hi! thank you for notifying us. we have marked your concern on your offerer's thread in our spreadsheets and will attempt to contact kitrinathegreat over the next 3 days. if neither you nor the mods receive a response by then, then you will have the option of forfeiting the offer and placing your name on a list for our upcoming pinch-hitter post. (given that you have already donated, this is the best we can do to try and find a replacement offerer, if your original offerer remains unresponsive.)

You bid on stats advice? I think I can get my boyfriend to offer to pinch-hit for you...he's about to graduate with a BS in Statistics, and wants to go into consultation. (And all signs point to him being really good at it.)

It's more than pure stats though since it involved some psychology stuff as well. What I have in mind was for proof reading an assignment with setting out research questions and statistical analysis to put it simply.

I'm sorry for my delays with confirmations. Everything is paid ,but I had over 45 things I won to confirm, multiple charities, and 13 winners to confirm. As I am quadriplegic this takes a bit of time.

I have a list of what I paid to what and an individual breakdown of all the donations but it can be a little difficult making sure each individual gets confirmation. I have sent messages to most of them however, and if need be I can provide the list in its entirety to the Mods.

hi! thank you for notifying us. if you will need more time (past the April 30/May 1 deadline), please let us know and do provide a complete list of all the threads you won bids / made offers on, so that we can mark your notice in our spreadsheets.

I will likely need a few extra days, but I will definitely try to get that list in before the 31st. Is should note however, I did quite a few buy it nows, and didn't track , although I did notify either by v-gift, pm, or in the thread.

please do -- thank you! and the mods are currently going through all the remaining open/pending offers and notifying the offerers and winners, so you may be receiving comments soon (which will allow you to track your lost threads).

Hi there! Just wanted to let you know that I'll be listing my offers that have confirmed donations hopefully by the end of this week (RL has been very hectic for me as of late!). I reckon I have at least 4 or so that are confirmed and one in which the winner had to withdraw, due to moving and not having a stable address. Should that offer be forfeit or go down to the second winning bid?

If you need more details, I can give them to you. Thanks!

hi! thank you for notifying us. regarding the withdrawal of your original winner, please do go ahead and designate the next-highest bidder as your new winner. once all confirmations have been completed, please do make a consolidated confirmation post here, with a remark about the change in winners. thank you!

I'm still waiting to hear back from my winner what they want, I'm not sure what do, since I emailed them back at the email address they sent the confirmation of their donation from & haven't heard anything. This is the second email I've sent them. ^^; Any help would be appreciated.

hi! thank you for notifying us. if you can provide the link to your offer thread, we will go ahead and attempt to contact your winner over the following 3 days. if the winner does not respond to either you or the mods by then, then you may discount the bid in question, if you wish.

You're welcoem! Thanks for getting back to me so quickly! :D

Since there was only one bid, I'd hate to, but okay.

Here's the the link you requested: http://help-japan.livejournal.com/4185.html?thread=4634457#t4634457

Thank you again for your help! :D
