I recently finished the story someone won from me, and posted it. I'm still working on the other one. Is there somewhere I should post about this?

hi! no, there's no need to notify or post in this community when you complete an offer. just keep in touch with your winning bidders and you're all set. :)

hi! thank you for letting us know. we can definitely try to contact your offerer on your behalf over the next few days via PM and/or email. (if this is something you would like us to do, please provide your offerer's contact information, as well as the link to the offer thread.)

regarding a public list of defaulters, we understand your concern. unfortunately, the sheer amount of participants in this community means that we cannot follow up with all offerers to confirm fulfillment. the terms of the offer remain between the offerer and the winning bidder(s), though we will do our utmost to resolve any conflicts.

Hi there... I'm really sorry that this is so late and I understand if you can't do anything but I thought it was worth a try as I'd been looking forward to it all year. :x I didn't sign up for the pinch-hitter round because my offerer responded to my PM around that time and I was under the impression my package would be in the post, but it's been quite a long time now and I can't make contact. :(

I'm hoping maybe a mod email might unearth some contact... again my apologies for lateness and thanks for any help you can offer.

Hello
I've been hesitating to comment on a similar issue with offers that were never delivered. Same story though, after the pinch hitter post, both of these offerers stopped replying to me. I have been emailing, pm-ing them to no avail. I know for a fact that both of them are actively checking LJ because of their latest posts dates, even if the journals are locked.

I understand the mods can't do much at this late stage, except to PM and try to get a response.

I was hoping there would be a list put up, with these offeres, just to warn people.
I tried posting one request in the pinch-hitter post, and didn't get an offer on it, so I'm not expecting anyone to pick up the other two.

The first was here, by butterflythread. I still have LJ's notification of the thread, so it's not a big deal that it's deleted now. $41

the other by pink_thunder17 is here. $20

hi there! thank you for notifying us.

i'm afraid that all we can do is contact them via PM, but we'd be more than happy to try! we'll get on that right away and let you know if they respond.

we're terribly sorry to hear that your auction experience has been a negative one. re: list of unresponsive offerers --> unfortunately, the terms of the offers remain between the offerers and the bidders themselves, so such a list will not be forthcoming. our apologies!

I'm so sorry! I didn't mean for it to come out so defensive and negative, I have had six other very successful exchanges with amazing people ♥

My frustration got the better of me. I completely understand about the list, no apology necessary.

Thank you.
