I had a lot of winners, if any feel they lost touch with me or worry that their work will go unfinished. (I'm working in order of obligation and am disabled, I warned most but in case I forget to mention it to any I'd hate for them to think I forgot)please let me know.

Also if anyone I won from believe I haven't contacted them, it's likely due to a mix up, I paid for everything so if you could also let me know, it would be most appreciated.

Also regarding the lightning-round will we be able to continue sorting out details of requests in threads?

Hey! I'm slightly confused - I bid in this thread and, having not recieved a notification that I'd been out bid, looked and saw that someone did bid, but not in response to my comment. Am I the winner or is the other poster?

Apologies if I have missed something about this below; I have had a look around to check the rules, but wasn't 100% sure!

hi! indeed, munanna is the winner. we do not have rules stipulating how bidders are notified if they are outbid -- we leave the responsibility of checking on offer threads to the bidders themselves.

our apologies if this was not made clear.

Thank you for the response! That's absolutely fine, I just wanted to check so if I was the winner I could pay ASAP ^_^ Thanks very much!

Will winners be receiving comments from the mods, or is that up to the offerer?

hi! we do encourage offerers to notify their winners first. but if there are still open/pending offers after a few days have passed, then yes, we will notify winners who have not yet confirmed their donations. :)

For the pinch hitter post, might it be a good idea to add a "other things you might like" category or something? It seems like it would be a lot easier to find a pinch hitter for something off a short list than someone who's willing to do exactly what was originally bid on, if the bidder is open to other options.

thanks for the suggestion! :) we'll definitely take it into account and amend the post accordingly.

hi! the procedure will be the same as for the first auction round: if the winner has not responded within one week from the offerer's first attempt at communication, the offerer should PM the mods (with a link to the offer thread itself). the mods will then attempt to contact the winner -- if three more days pass without a response, then the offerer has the right to discount the bid and declare the next-highest bidder as the new winner. (or cancel the offer entirely, if there were no other bidders.)

hope that helps!
