That's huge if you ask me - no wonder you have numbness and pain.
I hate hate hate it when docs don't appear to have interest in you. Its just rude.

I hope they schedule the surgery for you pronto, I'd hate to hear that its getting bigger.

Yup, it's pretty darn huge. Looking back I know I've been feeling it for a while now, but since I started feeling it right around the same time we got Rex I assumed that any twinges in my leg were from the actual exercise I was now doing when walking him.

If it tapers off at both ends I bet it looks like an eye. You could call it the Cyst of Sauron. COS for short.

will they let you keep it in a jar?

Oooh, that would be cool!
I know that they'll let you keep non-organic bits if you ask before the surgery. I've got a 2.5" titanium screw on my keychain that used to be in my knee.

Dang, girl, that's huge! Sucks that your doc didn't care. Bad enough to have to deal with this, but a non-sympathetic doc doesn't help. Maybe the other clinic will be better. And faster.

Tapers at both ends- I wonder if you could use it as a slingshot?

Well, even if this doc tomorrow can't operate any sooner, at the very least I should be able to get some painkillers.

Annoying doctor is annoying. I hope you don't have to live with this much longer, but if it is over a week, how about Cecil the Cyst?

I've decided to name him Leon because ganglion cyst is one of the types it might be.
