I have lots of photos of Shiraz and Mulder like that too. Murphy's Law, as soon as you click the shutter they move, contrary things.

Yup, it's so hard to get the darn things to pose! :) But they had fun, which is the important thing.

What a beautiful dog.

We adopted a cat from the rescue people and specifically wanted one that was comfortable with dogs. I don't have a picture other than my icon, but the little guy we got not only loves the dog, he'll sit by the door and waits for him to finish his business!

What a pair they make... a Newfie and a little black cat.

Sounds adorable!
We've had the cat for 10 years now, so we have to let her have some say in the matter. Poor thing was really loving being an only child after we lost our other cat this spring, so merely tolerating the dog is more than we ever expected from her.

It's fun having a dog. It's also nice knowing it's not permanent. It's one thing to be walking him in this perfect weather, it will be another thing altogether to have to do it in January!
