Serena peeks an eye open the minute she felt his fingers on her. She blinks for a moment, trying to adjust her focus, and looks up to Dino. The second she registers that it's him, she starts to cry. She can't help the sobs that shake her and she takes his hand and holds it close to her, almost hugging it.

He bites his lip as her tears come, guilt pulling at him instantly. He sits down on the edge of the bed. "Hey, shh."

As soon as he sits down, she moves onto his lap and clings to his jacket. Her hands are shaking as she does and hold on to him weakly. “I’m sorry, please forgive me. Please.”
