Yay, new friend! :D

Aw, thanks so much for recommending me! It really tickles me that you liked the story so much.

I'm happy to hear you liked the drabble, too. I've never been much of a drabble writer, but the competitive aspect appealed to me so I threw my hat in. Here's hoping I can keep it up, eh? I'm currently working on my third (and, egads, hopefully final) version of this week's prompt.

Anyway. Hurrah, friendship! I look forward to stalking your journal ;).

What a splendid story! I asked for Scorpius/Hugo rec and this one was the first one I got - and boy, am I glad! I loved the characters to bits, smooth Malfoyian Scorpius, dead frightened of stepping out of the character of a popular school hunk; and a happy-to-be-himself Hugo, nowhere nearly as impressive at first sight, but the real thing through and through. The transformation of Scorpius into who he ultimately wanted to be through Hugo's unrelenting attention was fabulously narrated and the detail of the story provided that "fly in the wall of high-school" effect.
I also liked the side character - I think a practical Miranda was my favourite and I totally loved it that they're not written as black and white.
Fantastic job! :D
