[And whine he would but for now he had a facade to put on. It was only a pity that he looked like the walking dead thanks to the pain that shot through him every time he moved. His face was just as pale as Alucards by this point, and cold to the touch. He'd spent the better part of the morning wrapped up in blankets, and now he was trying to stand, ignoring the complaints his body put out. Cold, tired, it hurt... There, he was standing, and vertigo tried to drag him to the floor. Grasping a chair as the world spun around him, he straightened his back and shut his eyes, breathing deeply until the dizzy spell had passed, though chills still shot through him.
An absolute wreak, no wonder Maxwell had panicked.
Now to wait until they came. He'd die before he went back to that hospital!]
[It didn't take her long to find the high school and her bootheels clipped crisply on the tile floor. Ignoring any others she passed, Integra Hellsing barely paused outside Room 204 before slapping it open and gazing inside, seeing a wan, sickly Father Nightroad wobbling on unsteady legs.
An eyebrow cocked as she gave a one word order to her servant, no doubt lurking behind her.]
Alucard.
[That done, the Hellsing gazed about with narrowed eyes for the sniveling Iscariot.]
Maxwell! Get out here, you bloody idiot!
[ooc: I have no idea where we wanna put Maxwell in this or maybe do another log, God, ><, but whatever's fine with me! ^^]
[Maxwell had run himself into a spectacular circle trying to escape this Godless highschool. He was sure it was under some devil's spell to keep him trapped here when he noticed the second set of 200 numbers lining the doors.]
Oh is that 202 again? Oh that takes me back.
[He cursed to himself, grumbling all manner of damnation on this place and all it's horrible inhabitants. And speaking of things that brought him to curse, as he rounded a corner, the cursed woman with her hellbent screech pierced his ears.]
Crap!
[The Iscariot suddenly doubled the speed of his walk down the hallway, making an arch around door 204 as if getting too close posed a threat to his mental and physical health. He however spoke short to make this quick.]
Helling! So good to see you truly in the flesh, well I guess you were right, this isn't so much a dream, as it is a rotting nightmare, so hello and g--
GHBPH!
[His departing speech was crushed as his face slammed into what felt like a cold brick wall.]
[Action]king_no_lifeSeptember 3 2009, 01:56:54 UTC
[The black beast loomed over the whinging man, casting a shadow over him that promised to disembowel and devour what was left of his soul. A robust baritone shuddered the bone as the monolith creature hissed.]
En~ri~co Max~well.. what a fine monster you made.
[Two iron clanks sounded out across the hall as the Nosferatu dropped his arms and into his hands grasped his two weapons. One of black, one of silver, he let the frigid cobalt steel caress the archbishop's forehead to let him stare down the long barrel and meet the red eyes of death pulsing at the other end.]
Do not run so far, human, my master desires you as I desire your blood.
[Well, he tried. He wasn't falling over at least, and he even managed to straighten himself out and steady himself even more as Integra opened the door.
And if there was one thing he could still do quite easily and convincingly, it was smile. As if the problem was no greater than a tummy bug and he was just being over dramatic. The mention of Alucards name prompted a seconds long glace to the hallway before he returned the somewhat... faded gaze back to Integra.]
It isn't too cold out, is it? I heard someone say it was starting to melt...
[A bad attempt to start small talk. Oh, at the sound of Enricos voice, the priest stiffened and winced, lending fact to the idea that the man was far from a subordinate, and even further from becoming attached to the highly strung archbishop.]
I really wouldn't mind a brisk walk outside, though. [He spoke quietly, wincing again at the sound of violence outside]
Just to get some peace and quiet. [In a louder voice, he spoke again
( ... )
[Ah, there was the damned (literally) Catholic. Integra turned as her monster pulled both guns and aimed them at the Iscariot, but Integra knew he wouldn't fire unless she gave the order. Her frown thinned. At least, he bloody well better not pull those triggers.
She snapped at Maxwell, patience thinning dangerously.]
Stop dithering, Maxwell. You'll not get out of this one so easy.
[Rounding on Abel, she gave him a sharp glance before replying.]
I doubt the cold will bother you overly, Father Nightroad.
[One of her sharp eyebrows went up.]
A walk would do you good, perhaps. Maxwell and I are going to have a ...chat while you do so.
[The sight of the monster had his subconscious screaming to bolt in the other direction, yet his prideful countenance had his feet glued to the floor. Why ever was he fearing?! This frothing abomination was under a tight and ever shrinking leash. Yet to hear his voice, the last stake in his body before he woke up here with phantom pains of steel piercing his flesh, had his withered heart writhing.]
Just to talk, mm? Well I can't very well with a gun shoved down my throat.
[Perfectly blueblood in airs, he stamped out his unexplainable panic and nearly turned his nose up at the vampire. Nothing to fear, he's just a dog without his pack and muzzled by his owner. Alucard was all bark as far as he was concerned.]
[Action]king_no_lifeSeptember 3 2009, 02:45:12 UTC
I've taken that pleasure already from you, Catholic.
[The vampire curved a wolfish smirk, letting a fang glisten at his lip. No, he would not shoot him here unless his woman ordered it. Piercing Maxwell's flesh once before and letting his blood rain down upon his army of slaves had been a sating and almost placating sight that warmed his icy innards like a lone flame. Pulling his weapons away, he turned for the door with a flicker of his coat.]
She will have her seconds.
[Bloody, sloppy seconds, he was sure.
Yet with that he left the two leaders to their devices as he entered Abel's small living space and shut the door behind him, a wicked grin maligning his entire demeanor.]
[Enrico watched the vampire disappear into that poor man's bedroom, his brows knitting not so much in confusion but wonder. What business did that vampire have with that sickly priest?]
You haven't ordered your pet to do anything drastic with that man, have you?
[He made a face at her offer to off him and folded his arms behind his back as he strolled to the other side of the small hall. The distance between them was small, but it was enough to keep him perfectly at ease.]
And no I've the right mind to allow God to take me when my time comes.
[He sighed, flitting a glove across his forehead to rub away the small indentation Alucard's gun had made.]
As miserable as these trials are one must endure for salvation.
[Action]king_no_lifeSeptember 3 2009, 03:12:59 UTC
A walk?
[The vampire inquired almost.. overly interested in what the priest had in mind as he slowly approached him, his hands fanned down at his sides as if he were about to reach out and ensnare him in his grasp.]
No concern? That's a Catholic in there, as improperly doctrined as he is.
[Not that he truly worried, but allies were allies in a Hell where he had no place to be picky. Then came her question and the visions of his last glorious moment reeled like vile film before an old wartime projector.
Soaring a top the legions of Satan with God's army at his command. His men crying out to pull back as the forces proved too strong, yet nothing would overpower him, nothing! He forced them to carry on his order just as the Lord commanded. He came not to bring peace, but a sword!]
But why ever would you want to know that? I'm sure you'd hate to relive it. London bridges burning down.
[As if regaling a fond memory of a midsummer night's dream, he pinched his finger between his eyes to relieve the tension of his sinuses and let the lovely visions flood back.]
I watched from the edge of the sea as your island lit up like the fires of Gehenna. I then ordered my men to take you into custody. Your homestead was destroyed, those abominations baying
( ... )
[Action]king_no_lifeSeptember 3 2009, 04:11:23 UTC
Oh but you ar~re.
[The Nosferatu stepped closer, hooking his teeth at the cuff of his glove and slowly peeling it off his bone-white flesh. The scarification of the sigils burned hideously on the top of his hand, his eyes manic as he bored them down upon the boy.]
I even brought a special medicine..
[Serrated incisors suddenly dragged across the inside of his palm, ripping thin porcelain skin and sprinkling dark dead blood unto the floor.]
An absolute wreak, no wonder Maxwell had panicked.

... Why wouldn't it? [And the genuine confusion showed through there.]
Well... Alright, I'll just need to grab my coat and I'll be fine.
[Well that had been the idea... Until Alucard trotted on in and shut the door. Gee, that was going to make leaving a little... difficult.]
... I'm alright.
[Which was a blatant lie and a half, if his pallid complexion and gentle shivering was of any indication.]
I thought I'd go for a walk.

I trust you're over your incipient panic attack, hm, Enrico?
[She actually smirks a bit, giving him a look, but her tone is dryly amused.]
If not, I can always put you out of your misery.

Straight to the hospital, isn't. that. right?

[He started backing up, wondering if his body would be able to stand him making a run for the door.
The hospital?!]
I don't need to go to the hospital!
[His voice rose an octave, sure to be heard outside the door]
I'm not going!
Reply
Alucard will deal with the priest, Maxwell; he's no concern of yours.
[She gazed a bit more keenly at the Iscariot figurehead.]
What was the last thing you remember before waking here, Enrico?
