My final quick reaction. I've drank a lot of wine, just to make it special (also, I just wanted another glass of wine).
So, I'll do my disclaimer, just to be extra sentimental: I've written this up after drinking a lot of wine and taking very crappy notes. Nothing is meant to be 100% accurate, but I do my best. Don't correct me unless I specifically

I was sobbing during Dean's whole speech, and rejoiced when Cas was mentioned.
I'm still settling into the idea that Dean never got to have kids or a life outside of hunting, but I feel like heaven has been changed in such a way to free them both of hunting forever. Honestly tearing up thinking of them at complete peace forever rn.
I'm really interested in seeing the pre-covid script and all the other characters we might have gotten a glimpse of on earth or in heaven!
All I have left to do is wait for the fandom to write the next chapter. It's a good feeling.

So far, from what I've seen, Dean was supposed to be greeted by more past-characters in Heaven then just Bobby, and perhaps Cas was supposed to actually appear as well. It'll be interesting if they ever release the original pre-Covid script for it.

I freaking loved it, that the winchester name still goes on, but that Sam and Dean, are at peace, finally ❤️

Hey, I've been quietly reading your reactions and rewatches for a while, and I wanted to ask, what exactly was the ending you had in mind?

The ending I would have written is one where Sam and Dean become 'Urban Legends' themselves, but not the bad kind. Instead they become this story of these two heroes that will show up when you find yourself in over your head and in a desperate situation, and they'll help you and then disappear into the night... the sound of a gas-engine fading into the distance, even though it's been decades since all vehicles became electric and no one even sells gas anymore.
Again, they aren't restless spirits though, they're like a new type of angel or god... a supernatural being that isn't a dick. Their heaven is helping people on earth for all eternity with their brother at their side.

This episode... It feels like a fanfic.)) Sometimes, even like "my first fanfic". It's easy to unsee it if you don't like this ending and I wonder if it's done on purpose or by accident. In general it's nice. And of course I cried!))
The thing I don't like though is the Impala doubling. I object! ))) Impala is as unique as the brothers, how could her soul be at the same time with Sam at Earth and with Dean in Heaven? Nah, they should have killed her soon after Dean.))

I had the same thought about the Impala doubling! Maybe the reason that Sam was crying in the Impala on earth is because he could feel that her soul was already half in heaven.
