Sorry for my absence last week. I'd promise to be better, but we all know that I'm not a person of my word now :P
Once again, I'm mostly doing these rewatches to catalogue the clothes, so this rewatch analysis will be a little bit thin - I do apologize for that, and if there's anything you want to discuss in more depth, feel free

Thoughts in backwards order:

Jack sending the snake away was chilling because he was doing it thinking it was a kindness. Great way to show he's lost his understanding of being human.

Jared played Justin well, all self-righteous and uptight. Sideways thought--Jared's played a couple different 'uptight' characters: Justin, the 'Ted Talks Sam' in ep 300, and the au Sam earlier in season 15, and he manages to make all of them a little different. Nice.

I was suspicious of the milkshakes too!!!

I think I'm a poor judge of what's chilling.. maybe if he had been previously sentimentally attached to the snake? I don't know. Maybe I grew up around too many farmers and the concept that at a certain point you DO kill animals to end their misery, and it IS a kindness.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who was like "don't drink the milkshakes!"
