After the whole sun-almost-going-out thing, Toni wins her case with the BMoL that the Winchesters are secretly evil and they have to intervene. Sigh. If only there were some way to take what we got and cleverly edit it so that we could watch this instead... You've given the BMoL a rational purpose for pursuing the boys and made the whole Crowley/Lucifer/battle for Hell much more dramatic!

Sigh...

I wish I was that good of an editor, but alas. :P

Thank you for liking my rewrite though! I'm glad you think I did a good job of it. :)

I still think they need to hire you!

I don't understand why there are so many things that don't make sense floating around this season. If they're going to use an organization such as the BMoL, they should have their rationale and goals spelled out before they start writing them into the stories. Just having them there and letting every writer change their motivations in their episode doesn't work. This is true of Crowley and Lucifer as well.

Like borgmama, I wish we could edit the show to have it your way!

Agreed agreed. You'd think, since they introduced them in S11, that they've have PLENTY of time to come up with their goals/rationale before filming began in S12. I'm not sure where the breakdown was there - was it just not communicated well to the other writers? Were they just given too much leeway and not enough pushback on contradictory/bad ideas? I'm guessing the latter - though that's based solely on my own assumption about the personalities involved, and seeing as how I don't actually KNOW those people personally, I could be wrong.

I know that I'm biased on the subject - but I really wish they would hire me too. I think what the writer's room needs is a continuity expert, that has the authority to say "No, that's wrong. Rewrite it."

I'd be the most hated person in the room, but I'd be willing to do that for good television. :P
