No worries, I didn't need my heart.
Tonight I went out to see a documentary called The Road Forward, which is about the history of the Indigenous Rights movement in British Columbia. It was really interesting, but already had me quite emotional - because, you know - First Nations have been and are treated horribly in my country.
Anyway, I downloaded

It doesn't help that the movie Untamed Heart scarred me for life when I was an impressionable youth... uh, spoilers? (Are you ever going to watch a relatively unknown 90s movie?)
But yeah...I totally thought for a moment that Sam was dead, just because he didn't wake up on the first call of his name.

It's how I'd tell the story. I just don't dare hope for it anymore.
I did like the episode, I really liked the actors who played Max, Alicia and Sasha, and it would be a shame not to see them again.

Until they come back and dispel that illusion, that'll be my headcanon. Because ugh, it was way too tragic.
Which leaves me torn, of course, because I also really liked the actors and the characters, and want them to come back - but if they come back, I fear it'll just be for more heartbreak and I don't want that at all. :(

It would just be awesome if the SPN producers decided to use the spin off to fix the one major flaw spn has, which is a lack of regular characters who are female, poc and/or LGBT.
They could have the Winchesters guest starring on the spin off, to deal with the aftermath of them finding out about what Max did. Only since they're not the leads, it would be about Max dealing with them, rather than them dealing with Max, hoping that difference makes sense.

I did LOL several times while reading your review, if you can believe it. It was a very heartbreaking ep though. You're right it looks bad for Mary :'(

If the American hunters won't obey them, then they're in the way, because they give people the idea that they can say no to them.

That's the ONLY acceptable way to use your vibrate feature...and also, have that vibrate on LOW. I can't stand these TV shows where all the phones are on HIGH VIBRATE. Like, dude, JUST USE A TONE.
I figure that Dean left his phone behind, because it wasn't like "we're on a case" - it was "there is no case and this is a room full of hunters." So, he was pretty much "at home."
I don't know, at this point I'm pretty pessimistic about Mary's fate - but I'll be happily proved wrong. But yeah, it'd be nice to keep her around in some capacity, even if they have to rebuilt the relationship at third time.
