Does anyone watch The Killing?

It looks like I'm going to be an extra with them tomorrow Thursday. I have absolutely no idea what the show is. Based on the title, I am hoping to be a bloody corpse. Apparently they asked for me specifically, which is flattering...unless they are going to cast me as "ugly extra #2."

Very noir character driven murder mystery. The tagline was "Who killed Rosie Larsen?"Based on a v. successful Dutch series that was a big hit in the UK. It was a darling of the critics when it started last year, and then they turned on it like rabid dogs when in the finale there was (shock horror) a twsit, plus we didn't actually find out who killed Rosie. I loved it.

BTW please remember us little people when you're famous. (how exciting to be asked for!)

Hahaha, I will never forget the little people...because I will never be famous. ;) But it is very intriguing to me that I was asked for.

I thought everyone loved twists? Isn't that what made M. Night famous, before he tapped out his writing mojo? :P

I'll let you know what scene/episode I'm in, if I can find out - then you can keep an eye out for me if you watch it!

Sounds interesting and fun!

I don't know what it's about, but I've heard people at work talking about it in the break room. They like the twists and turns in the murder investigations. I do know it's on AMC instead of one of the regular network stations. I think it's their only drama series...mostly they replay old movies.

Thanks! We don't get AMC up here in Canadaland (I don't think), so I don't even know if I'll be able to watch it when it airs. I guess there are always downloads though.
