And this is why I think Cas is going to have, and really deserves to have, a real job of getting back anything he had with Dean in S7. Cos not only did he break Sam's wall, he was one of the only 3 people that Dean actually trusted.

Thank you! I'm really glad you like those lines in particular, I was worried they weren't going to come across the way I pictured them. :)

And I agree about Castiel. He really needs to have a redemption arc now, or else I will be sad forever. Dean's trust is so hard to earn.

I dunno if he's going to get it though. I mean, as far as I can work out, Misha isn't going to be in S7 much. And I'd be pissed if by ep5 or something, Dean is just OK with him again.

We'll just have to cross our figures and wait and see! They are saying that the first 3 episodes are really a continuation of last season...but Castiel is SUCH a fan favourite, I don't see them getting rid of him completely. I really think they just knocked Misha down to guest-star status for budgetary reasons.
