Because of the always abundant moonlight, Armand breathed a sigh of relief when he entered the central courtyard. He didn't see anyone he knew out there, though the space could hardly be called deserted. He moved further into the open, superstitiously avoiding the shadow of the actual tower jutting above them.
He headed for the traitors

His eyes glanced around the tower area before his gaze settled on one familiar figure. There was a small part of him that desired to act on the threat that he'd given earlier that day, but thoughts of getting to Cloud consumed his mind.
Forcing his attention away from the parasite, Sephiroth made his way into the Traitor's wing.

"I mean, it's bad enough what they do to us every night, but to starve and hurt poor defenceless animals is terrible," Yuuri continued as he entered ino the tower area.
There were a few other prisoners running about the area, and it took until one knocked into his shoulder before Yuuri began paying attention to his surroundings, "Aaah, sorry sorry," He apologised until he caught sight of Armand heading in his direction.
"Ooooi!" Yuuri called out while happily waving a hand, "Armand!"

"I was just going to look for you."

"Huh? Calling out to Armand," Yuuri muttered in confusion while dropping his hand back down. Was that something bad to do? He wondered before the Frenchman's voice drew his attention again.
Glancing up, Yuuri smiled happily, "Sorry for making you wait," He announced before gesturing to Sasuke, "I don't know if you've met Sasuke before."

Man, this place was huge. He scratched his head nervously for a moment taking a glance from side to side. Seeing as it was his first night here he didn't want to end up lost and stuck in some corner. Knuckles sounded loudly as he cracked them before taking note of the doors he'd gone through earlier.
The Yard. Perfect.
One step closer to his bat.

Once out into the central tower, Rin leaned back against the wall not too far from the Perverts Wing and watched the other prisoners move about. She knew she should be working on something more this night than alcohol acquisition, but she felt she was entitled to some self-indulgence even in a prison. Besides, it wasn't as if her assistant would have accused her of slacking off on the job again; Mimi would have made this a top priority in half as much time as Rin.
There were a few possible locations to search. Still watching the others, Rin mulled them over in her mind.
Now, if I were a guard in a prison full of special people and had to treat them as nasty as I could during the day, where would I hide my alcoho?
[free for now, but will be moving eventually. Joining up is a possibility.]

Sighting one female, the first rat hissed as the second scampered up to join it. Without a second thought, the two rats took off after their new-found prey.

The immortal kicked at the first rat and then slashed down at the second one with her dagger. Such a nuisance.

The second rat, however, darted around the incoming slash as it scrambled out to the left. It didn't stop in its movements either as the large rodent bared its fangs and leapt to rip off a piece of flesh from Rin's right side.

Sephiroth emerged out into the tower area first. His sharp gaze flickered around the major points in the area before deeming it safe. Stepping out further, he made certain to give Cloud enough room to follow behind.
"If the situation becomes too dangerous, then I will see to it that your safety is assured," The ex-General murmured while glancing back towards Cloud.

Eventually arriving in what had to be the Central Tower, he stepped out to stand just behind Sephiroth's right arm. It was impossible to tell anything but shapes and colours moving around, and it was starting to give him a headache. His recovering eyes tried to focus, but it was a lame-duck attempt.
Still, he had enough hand-eye coordination to land a backhanded slap across Sephiroth's arm. "I'm not a cripple," he snarled, instantly angry at the thought. "I can fight for myself. I cover your back, you cover mine. If it gets bad, it will get bad for both of us."

"I never said that you were a cripple, Cloud." Sephiroth softly said in response as he turned around to fully face the blonde. Observing Cloud question after the words, he held no doubt that Cloud would cover him to the best of his abilities, but to foolishly remain in a situation that would endanger his life was something he wouldn't allow for Cloud to do. He had to protect that which was his, after all.
"I have to protect that which is mine," He murmured.

"The same goes for me," he replied scathingly. His hand searched out until it had found the arm he had hit previously, and he grabbed it tightly. "I can fight, which means I forbade you from just abandoning me if the battle gets tough. Dying doesn't frighten me, not if I have to good reason for it."
He knew what Sephiroth would plan too. If there was no way to force him away, Sephiroth would probably flee, drawing off the enemy and abandoning him that way. His lack of sight would make it difficult to follow if Sephiroth got a certain distance away. That was not something he wanted to stand by and have happen.
