There was little thought given to that female's presence as his figure burst through the door. The fresh scent of fauna instantly assaulted his senses, but the ex-General ignored it as he pushed his speed harder and sprinted towards the garden.

She had to admit, though, that Sephiroth's bloodhound reaction was far more intriguing than anything she might have seen had she just strolled after him. So, Rin ran.

He took a moment to reorientate his location, and it was only after glancing up to the large hedge in front of him, that he knew his Cloud was within. Sephiroth was off and moving again towards the maze's entrance before darting into the mouth of the maze.

Back into the garden, Rin turned around to eye the maze. She would prefer not to go back into it again. At least now she knew that it would change on her if she ever did. If she was capable of having a headache, she was certain she'd have one at the moment.
Turning away from the maze, Rin started down the path that would lead her back to the main area of the prison. "Have a good night, boys," she called back to Sephiroth and Cloud, tossing her hair back over her shoulder. "Try not to get eaten on the way back."

He didn't stop, but glanced down beside him to see how Cloud was fairing. "We're in the garden," Sephiroth muttered softly to allow the blonde to know their situation.

Though, at Rin's dismissal, he could assume that they had left the confines of the maze. It was confirmed when Sephiroth spoke to him as well, though he wracked his brain to think about which direction he had heard Rin's voice.
Absently, he waved his bloodied right hand in a direction that he thought was where she had last sounded from, but he was instead waving at a stray bush and Rin more ahead. "Bye," he called to the bush that was supposed to be Rin. "Thanks for your help. I owe you," he added.
