The siren sounded and the cell doors unlocked, but Yuuri didn't make any attempt to move. Instead, he sat quietly on his bunk with his legs drawn up against his chest. He had to wait for Armand to arrive so that he could heal the other man's injuries, and not only that, but he'd have to go and find Sae if she didn't get here first.
His arms wrapped around his legs as he sat there quietly watching the other prisoners run by. Resting his chin on the top of his knees, Yuuri wordlessly peered out, but his thoughts were more focused inward. He hadn't seen Sasuke for a while, and it worried him. Had his friend ended up the same as Wolfram had? The thought made his heart clench painfully as his eyes slipped shut.
He'd been unable to save Wolfram from this place, and while there was a nagging thought that he could fail again, Yuuri forced them to the back of his mind. No. He had to put in more effort in order to save everyone here and help them get their way back home.
The image of Wolfram's body up in that cage still assaulted his mind, but he forced it back as well. He couldn't let himself get distracted or down, not until he'd done what he vowed to do. Reopening his eyes, they held a definite seriousness to them as he vowed again, 'Don't you worry, Wolfram, I'm coming to get you down.' He wasn't going to leave Wolfram hanging up there to become nothing but a skeleton. His friend deserved better than that.
